Use Gentle Wash daily in the shower or bath. Apply desired amount of QV Gentle Wash to wet skin and lightly massage. Rinse and gently pat skin dry.
Avoid eyes. If lather enters eyes, flush immediately with clean water. If eye irritation persists, seek prompt medical advice.
  • Recommended for cleansing dry skin as it contains a high moisturiser concentration.
  • Helps manage the symptoms of dry, itchy skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, xerosis and ichthyosis by aiding moisture retention in the skin.

Many eczema patients continue to wash their skin with soap or commecial shower gel which can be detrimental to skin pH and skin health. QV Gentle wash is a brilliant addition to a dermatology clinician prescribing formula giving the patient a foaming alternative to soap without disprupting the skin pH and providing soothing skincare. The wash is also cheaper than dermol 500 (our usual go to for skin washing) without the risk of sensitisation from chlorhexidine. I am consistently told by patients that they are appreciative of the skin care benefits.

As part of wound bed preparation for lower limb wounds the QV range has been successful to achieve good skin care. The first line used within my organisation is the qv lotion and QV intense has been successful in removing built up layers of dry skin and creams and lotions.
